DIGIPAK

These DIGIPAK's that we created are used as the cd cover but also as advertising and so it had to relate our band and the themes of our video. This idea came from the legs of the dancers in our videos, the differant photos will have all the stages of the legs, some with UV paint, some plain and some in x-ray to see the bones.
This one is more technology based that originates from the lyrics that are about soical networking.

Animatic and Feedback

After screening our animatic, we were given feedback, which was overall positive. We we're however asked to have more of the narrative point of view, from the guy on the computer and the main 'mysterious girl'.When focusing on the main girl, we are using lots of picture stills focusing on one point of her (eyes), and then compliling them together at the same point, so her eyes will stay in the same place, but the rest of her body will be moving. We feel that this will create a unique shot, in comparison to the rest of our video footage.

This is the email we sent:

To Almost Gold Records

We are a group of A Level students working on an A Level project for
a qualification in Media Studies. We are writing to request permission to

short form video that is made purely for assessment purposes and will have no commercial usage. The video will be viewed only by members of the school community and the assessor of the examination board.

Timeline

These are the timelines we wrote up which we needed to draw up our storyboards. After the time line was pitched to Luke and Matt we made a few changes:
-We decided not to do the facebook homepage concept and made it into a futuristic minority report.
-We changed the rooms in the video to suggest more of a house party. We got rid of the narrative of the boy meeting the girl at the party, and instead have her highlighted and quickly seen in the rooms within the house party.
